February 14th has come around again and whether you’re in a relationship or not, there’s one question on everyone’s minds – what are you doing this Valentine’s Day?
Sure a traditional, romantic meal is great and who doesn’t love flowers and chocolates? But if you're feeling adventurous and would like to switch things up this year, why not try one of the activities below…
Play it safe, but not too safe. Why wait around all day for dinner? This way you can avoid busy restaurants, queues, overpriced bills and over cooked dinners. Some may even find the idea flattering.
When was the last time you spent date night at the cinema? If you have to think about it, it’s been too long. Bonus points if you find a cinema playing a classic!
WHY THE 14TH?
This year Valentine’s Day lands on a Wednesday, which we have to admit is pretty inconvenient. But why should that stop us celebrating? Change the date, simple! Your significant other isn’t going to mind if you put off celebrating for a few days – we all work, it’s completely understandable.
Whoever said mini golf is for the younger generation was lying. Combine your two favourite things, golf and a glass of beer/wine. After all, Valentine’s Day should be about having fun.
Just because you’re in a relationship doesn’t mean you can’t go out dancing. Pretend you're back in school at a Traffic Light Disco. If you’re feeling confident, why not go to a karaoke bar? Nothing says Valentine’s Day more than having a laugh with each other.
If you want to do something slightly out of the ordinary then book a wine tasting session! If wine's not your thing, try gin or beer!
